What is 2nd to None?

2nd to None basketball training is a program that teaches players of all ages and skill levels how to take their game to the next level. From the basics and fundamentals of the game to more advanced and detailed concepts, 2nd to None teaches in challenging but encouraging methods to motivate athletes to reach their highest potential.

Why 2nd to None?

2nd to None places players in a hardworking, energetic environment to learn from which allows them to push themselves and others while also having an enjoyable experience. Our goal is to instill in our athletes the importance of hard work to the game of basketball and life.

We create a bond from the moment you set foot on the floor with us. When you are a part of 2nd to None you are a part of our family and we treat each of our players in this way. On or off the court you are now one of us!

Our Goal

Whether you are new to the game or a multi season veteran we have a program to suit your needs. Our goal is to help every one of our players realize their maximum potential and put them in position to achieve their individual goals.

Philosophy

       It is not about the physical attributes or talent a player has, but their work ethic and passion that can help them become a great basketball player. We do not just push players to work hard with us, but help them WANT to work hard on their own.

       Our desire is to help each athlete see the end goal and to understand that the path to success is never easy, but always worth it. We tell our athletes to find comfort in getting uncomfortable. Greatness comes outside of your comfort zone and we want our athletes to understand this is necessary to grow both as a player, and as a person.

Skill Enhancement

       Each training uses a variety of drills focusing on different aspects of the game. Our structured workouts help players build confidence in their abilities and translate those abilities into game time success. When finished, players will walk out of each workout feeling accomplished.

       Our workouts utilize drills that focus on multiple skills and concepts as well as in game situations and offensive ideas. We encourage our players to take what they have learned back home. We tell them to really be great they must take what they are learning and practice outside of our training.
